Glinton is a village of about 1700 people (census 1991) to the north of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, England. We are separated from the main "urban sprawl" of Peterborough by the A15 Peterborough bypass. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book and in fact, evidence suggests that it dates from pre-history times. Certainly Stone Age and Roman remains have been found in and near the village. |
